The Boston College Alumni Association invites Newton College and Boston College alumni to gather on Zoom for the first Newton College Book Club meeting of the fall semester.
Meetings will take place virtually until further notice. The opportunity for hybrid meetings, hosted both virtually and in-person in the Cadigan Alumni Center, will be explored after the first meeting. The schedule for this semester's meetings is below.
- Monday, September 27 - Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers of World War II, by Liza Mundy, and The Beantown Girls, by Jane Healey
- Monday, October 25 - The Sympathizer, by Viet Thanh Nguyen
- Monday, December 6 - Dust Tracks on a Road, by Zora Neale Hurston
Please note that you must create and log into a personal Zoom account prior to the meeting in order to join the meeting by video. You do not need a Zoom account to join by phone. If you do not already have a Zoom account, you can visit zoom.us to sign up for a free account.
